The first time someone asked me about this lightweight puffer jacket, I was walking the dog outside and wearing it with sweats and a neon beanie. I shouted across the street, “Old Navy!” And then I finished with, “Forty-seven bucks.”
Though mornings get cold in my Bay Area town (they usually are in the low 30s until about 9 a.m.), most winter days are in the low 50s, making a lightweight jacket the perfect choice. I was pumped when it came in the mail because it was a chilly morning and I wanted to see how it fit, and more importantly, how warm it was.
The report: I’m so into it! The jacket has a boxy cut (so lots room on the backside as it hangs down straight) and room to move in the arms. I layered it over a hoodie I was wearing and marveled at how it looked outside in the natural light. The quilted pattern pops in the light and just differentiates it from everyday puffers. Read on to see how I’m styling it.
