Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s respective families brought their fashion A game for Inauguration Day, and the outfit inspiration overfloweth. Not only were there envy-inducing coats aplenty on display at the swearing-in ceremony, but there were also quite a few standout footwear choices we can’t stop thinking about, most prominently Maisy Biden’s sneakers. One of Joe’s seven grandchildren, Maisy showed up to the Capitol in a monochromatic navy pantsuit and turtleneck, but seeing as she knew the day would involve walking through the streets of DC for a short parade, she went the practical route and opted for Nike Air Jordan high-tops with blue trim. A woman after our own hearts!
But the swag didn’t stop there. Later on that day, while attending the Celebrating America event at the Lincoln Memorial, Maisy changed into a dreamy, blush-pink Rodarte dress covered in hearts and flowers, and pulled yet another pair of Nikes out of her collection for the evening. The selection certainly stood out among the pointed-toe pumps and ankle-strap sandals the other Biden ladies rocked that night, and we love her for sticking to her personal style.
